Krugman,tepid opponent of TPP,says Deal Better Than Thought

++Paul Krugman finds that the TPP is better on drugs,tobacco and labor standards than previously thought. Environmentalists claim improvements since the first reading but internet aficionados tell us this is the end of civilization as we know it.

++Krugman says he will have to read the rest of the agreement before actually deciding on it.

++He quotes in his blog a study that the most viable trade agreements are those that do the most social harm. He says the Republicans are furious with the changes and progressives have been against from Day One. This puts TPP on dubious footing as it heads to Congress.

++I understand its geopolitical importance but it still looks like it will harm normal Americans.
