Paris Attacks Make Climate Deal More Likely

++Climate activists see the tonal aspects of the Climate Change Summit turning their way. It is obvious that the background work leading to the conference has been marked by increasing cooperation and a sense of solidarity in the face of the Paris attacks.

++Secretary of State John Kerry said the summit will prove that terrorism doesn't disrupt the work of the international community. With Justin Trudeau's election in Canada, the summit is very likely to see the world's emitters united to see some tangible efforts to stabilize the climate.

++Meanwhile the U.S. Senate has been appeasing Jim Inhofe with its resolutions to stop President Obama's power plant guidelines. Given the mood of the country,it is highly likely the Republicans will overreach in their bid to stop President Obama.
