+The foreign policy head of the CATO institute has an excellent article in the Huffington Post today on why is it that Western nations believe they should be no blowback when their governments attack groups in the Middle East.
+Doug Bandow writes that if Saudi Arabia decided not to do a Dick Cheney during Vietnam and decide they had other things to do,it could easily end ISIS because the so-called caliphate is not a durable state and has opted for asymmetrical warfare because it has no advanced weapons. He argues that our allies are all corrupt, ineffective and are not reliable.
+He writes that ISIS has lost territory every moment and even threaten their soldiers with death for desertion because moral is so low. But Bandow says that the right in the United States has gone nuts by saying that they have declared war against the West. If Hezbullah, the Iranians and Russia the West?
+Bandow says that ISIS may eventually pose a threat to the United States but so far doesn't and efforts at attrition of their territory may prove successful. He compares the dead in Syria to the greater numbers in wars in the Sudan, the Congo and Rwanda.
+He says the Right's call to send in thousands of troops on strengthens the local government's dependency on us and reluctance to fight their own fight.
