++ David Smith of the Guardian writes a short piece on Mustafa al-Aziz al-Shamiri, a 37 year old Yemeni, who has spent 13 years in Gitmo because the US military thought he had been a courier and played a greater role in Al Qaeda.
++Mustafa was an Islamist foot soldier who mingled with Al Qaeda cadres in the field but played no role in their operations and wasn't part of the organization.
++The Pentagon finally admitted this past year he had been captured on the grounds of mistaken identity. His ultimate fate is still unknown.
++What's he going to be like when he is released? No one can tell. The United States Government makes true captives sign very strict agreements when they are released prohibiting them granting interviews or entering the fight again.
