The Rash of Republican Tweets

+The right weighed in with a torrent of tweets blasting Obama for not declaring a ground war in Syria. Yes, a ground war in Syria.

+A negative Left comment had President Obama talking about a minimum of gun control, be nice to Muslims and more war and not mentioning the issues facing the country like income inequality and the minim wage.

+You can't win for losing.

+Ted Cruz said that nothing President Obama said would defeat ISIS.

+The Times reporter tweeted throughout the speech saying that obviously the President had did his background work in getting ISIS right. She said that ISIS' apocalypse will occur in Dibiq, a small town in Syria, where the crusaders (us) will meet the legions of Muslims for the final battle. His statement of no ground war was seen by her as having a devastating effect on their morale. She went on to say that whenever local troops engaged ISIS either they won or ISIS mounted a tactical retreat. But the problem is that these troops are Kurds and they won't fight past their ethnic fault lines. For instance,in the upcoming battle for Mosul in Iraq, the Kurish commander told her that they will only go 20% into the town and then it is out of their tribal range.

+Another problem is that our planes are coming back with bombs because there are not enough targets. We've destroyed their infrastructure and logistical supplylines but they have decentralized their command and control and operate in small groups of eight or ten at the top. The very top only approve the general plan and the others are meant to implement it.

+That's why President Obama mentioned the Special Forces, which Trump scoffed out. They are, for want of a better word, assassins whose mission is to go after the leadership of ISIS.

+The Donald and other conservatives have chided President Obama on spelling his plan out. But, in fact,he uses euphemisms that sound bland but actually do reveal the strategy.

+I have problems with some of this but not from a conservative perspective.

+Tomorrow I believe the Washington pundits will find the speech inadequate.
