++Nancy LeTourneau writing in the Washington Monthly examines Greg Sargent's Washington POst piece on the contrasts between Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz. Cruz, she writes,brags about getting the "Reagan Democrats". I've pointed out that the GOP is aiming for the whitest possible support. I said that the Donald was pulling in Sean Trende's missing white voters. That's how she rides right now and I can't see how this late in the game the GOP can change it. LeTourneau says that Marco Rubio is playing Romney's etch a sketch and hopes that with the general electorate the slate will be wiped clean and he can appear as the optimistic young man appealing to millennials.
++But the elephant in the room is the Donald who is crushing the field. The FOX poll I posted this morning showed that his support grew by eight points since he made his Ban Moslem statements.
++Ted Cruz hopes to pick up the Donald supporters if he fails. The problem with this as Martin Longman wrote this morning,everyone literally hates Cruz. The biggest problem facing sitting Republican congressmen is it Trump or Cruz? The choice makes them scream.
