++The seizure of the Malheur wild life refuge turns out not to be the most opportune target for the Mormon terrorists. The Supreme Court has ruled twice,not once, on this particular slice of Oregon land and its decision doesn't agree with the militias understanding of the Constitution.
++It is the first bird sanctuary in the United States--believe or not--having been created by Theodore Roosevelt. But like TR,that meant tearing up the treaty with the Northern Paiute Indians which game them a million acres. Today there are just over 350 Paiutes in the neighboring territory. So if the Mormons want the land,it should go back to the Northern Paiutes who have legal claim to it.
