++Josh had thought Rubio was the best general election candidate that the Republicans had. But he saw how Christie and even Bush just trashed hymn and his inability to get off his talking points, which Christie reminded the audience of. Bush said Rubio was a very skilled politician but again lamented Rubio's experience. Rubio's comeback was pointing to Joe Biden and how he got many bills passed but "No one thinks Biden should be President." Christie just rate him with that comparison.
++Josh also thinks the Donald had his best debate but that he had never seen a candidate insult the audience the way that Trump had.
++He believed Christie had the best debate but is dubious about how this will help him as he sits at 5% of the polls.
++His basic point was that the candidates, for the most part ,gave the Donald a by and he didn't muff any questions and stuck to his major themes.
++Nate Silver thought Christie wasted his debate on Rubio. He mentions that Christie and Trump are buddies from Atlantic City and neither probably wanted to go after one another.
++Josh's point is that all the other candidates had to make a last minute surge to remain viable and if the Donald wins they can pick off Rubio.
++I though Jeb had his best debate performance but I am unclear he can get where he needs to go. Although I noticed, he is bringing George W. out in South Carolina so he's not quitting yet.
