Josh Marshall Thought the Iowa Caucus Was A Win For The GOP

++He explains this by saying that Rubio's strong performance gave the GOP a way out of a disaster of Ted Cruz nor Donald Trump.

++The Donald did a straight political speech by reminding people that he was believed not to have finished in the top 10 in Iowa months go and that he may buy a farm. He was actually gracious and congratulated Ted Cruz. He did not mention Marco Rubio.

++The question is whether Trump's large lead in New Hampshire will hold up. I don't think one defeat if going to deter the Donald. He cited the polls in the upcoming states so he is the man to be targeted.

++I can't stand Marco Rubio or Ted Cruz. Despite the Donald's hideous politics, I understand him better because of his radio appearances with Howard Stern, something the other characters wouldn't take a gamble on.

++Be prepared to hear more about Rubio's brother-in-law and his financial problems. And what about the "secret family"? It's not so easily to see the establishment come around a candidate this early in the process so you will hear the goods on Marco.

++I am flummoxed by all the Washington pundits--Democrats and Republicans--who say that Rubio is the One. I have never seen it and I think his debate performances have not shown me anything.
