+Robert Reich claims to have a mole in the Obama White House who told him the next Supreme Court pick. Nancy LeTourneau writes in the Washington Monthly that President Obama's strategy--will be to pick the most qualified candidate and let the Republicans hang themselves on their own petards.
+Reich's mole says the candidate is 48-year old Sri Srinavasin who is the circuit judge on the US Court of Appeals in Washington,D.C. He was approved by the Judiciary Committee by 18 to O. He was confirmed in 2013 by the Senate with a vote of 97 to 0.
+Srinavasin would be the first Asian-American on the court. Educated in Stanfrod,he became the Principal Deputy Solicitor General ,who argued 25 cases before the Supreme Court. He had previously clerked under Judge Wilkinson II and Sandra Day O'Connor. In 2005, he received the Award for Excellence by the Defense Department. He has also taught at Harvard Law School.
+Obama supporters had objected to Sri serving in the Bush Department of Justice. But he also did pro bono work for the Al Gore campaign in its challenge to the Supreme Court.
+It will be interesting to hear the objections to him from the Republicans in the Senate when they have already voted to confirm him.
