+I'll give the night to my former executive assistant, John Karl, at ABC. He captured the night with "It's the revenge of the Governors."
+The Donald dominated as always until the last half. But the Governors--Christie,Kasich and Bush--actually came through.
+Christie helped the night by eviscerating Marco Rubio on his immigration reform bill. He pointed out that if Rubio said it couldn't be passed, then why write it and disavow it. Rubio actually hung himself with continuing to prohibit abortion for rape, incest, and the life of the mother. Jeb nailed him on that one as well as Christie.
+Kasich came over again as reasonable and made a point of saying he reached out on both sides of the aisle. Jeb acted gubernatorial for a change but lost me with devolving so much of federal programs to the states. Christie actually defended his record in New Jersey better than anyone could.
+Rubio was called out on his memorized answers and couldn't respond. Bush attacked Trump on imminent domain and lost.
+I would say the two biggest losers were Rubio and Cruz. Cruz tried to push his winning Iowa as a big point, while the Donald said,"Sure with Ben's votes", an allusion to Cruz dirty tricks against the Carson campaign.
+There was an obvious attempt by the candidates to tone down their obnoxiousness. The moderators asked Marco Rubio about his comments about President Obama going to a Mosque and he doing the ole'backpeddle when the moderator mentioned that George W. Bush did the same thing. Christie and Bush weighed in on the patriotism and law abiding natures of Muslim Americans.
+The presidential guys were the governors however they hid their most vile policies.
