CLINTON STARTS WITH A DECISIVE ADVANTAGE

++Stu Rothenberg writing in the Hill says that even though outlier polls show this is a close race , a blowout if possible.

++Rothenberg ponders in the article how data-driven people like Nate Silver got it wrong about Trump. He says the key is that 58% of GOP voters are white without college degrees. This may have worked for Trump in the primaries but such people are 46% of all registered voters.

++Rothen berg cites an NBC/Wall Street April poll about whether voters want Republicans or Democrats in the White House. It was the Democrats by 1--46 to 45. But with ehites without collages degrees it was 59% Republicans to 31% Democrats. Whites without college degrees favor Trump 57 to Clinton 33.

++But don't believe the noise about white working class giving Trump the election. His advantage there is simply not enough. It may snag him Michigan, Pennsylvania or Nevada  but New York--forgetaboutit.

++Rothenberg says that national polling basically has Clinton in a 7-12% lead or 50% Clinton-40% Trump. If Trump loses by 7 or 8 points, he is not going to win a single state Obama did last election.

++Rothenberg says that with 77% disapproval rating, Trump will do far less with Hispanics than Romney. African-Americans still support Clinton by huge margins. And then he says the Obama whites are more liberal and will never go for Trump.
