PRESIDENT OBAMA DUSTS OFF HIS CAMPAIGN SHOES AND RALLIES FOR HILLARY IN NORTH CAROLINA.

++President Obama hits the road to endorse Hillary Clinton. I wish they would change the music at the Clinton rallies. Obama used North Carolina to put the marker down in his support for Hillary Clinton. His old mailing lists hit me moments after his speech for a donation.

++"The most qualified candidate to ever run for President" is what Obama called Hillary, which went beyond your normal endorsement. He was rusty at the beginning but found the cadence of his 2008 speeches. Fired Up! Ready To Go!.

++President Obama was gracious to credit Hillary with things he was responsible for but outlined the case for Hillary Clinton in a way that has weight.

++President Obama is unique among sitting presidents to be able to campaign for a candidate because the others were either in approval free-fall or the candidate wanted to avoid them. Obama is roughly at the popularity of Reagan in his second term and can be a political asset to Hillary Clinton.

++I got more the impression that Hillary was still awestruck by the President. The warmth and rapport was there but not like with Elizabeth Warren.  But the President didn't disappoint. He got in old line and new ones to say that he and Hillary shared the same view about making progress.

++It was nice to see him on the campaign trail. I was worried that the last stemwinder would have been in Ottawa to the Canadian parliament last week.

++His voice slightly husky and he looks aged but he still delivers. And then his well honed machine just drops the email in to remind you to donate after every great speech. Effective.
