KAINE VERSUS PENCE.

++Tim Kaine came prepared tonight to damage Donald Trump. Pence came to run for President in 2020. 


++Kaine was more likable and articulate and challenged Pence to defend what Donald had said. Frank Lunts said his bombshells didn't land among his focus group because the audience thought he took the quotes out of context.

++Kaine strongly defended the Clinton Foundation with the facts and got it right. Pence had said that it only spent 10% on charitable things. Untrue. It was 86% sent on charitable works.

++I felt Kaine muffed his response on the Trump foundation because he should have been short and sweet and said the AG in New York just shut its fund-raising capacity down.

++Pence came across as a Republican doing that old anti-Russian dance that would work if his partner wasn't so in bed with Putin. Kaine had the facts and slammed him.But I too think he muffed it because the "reset" was with Mededev not Putin. 


++Pence rattled on about the Iran deal. Kaine got the facts straight but didn't shut down the nonsense about a ransom payment. he just muttered not part of the Iran deal. No it wasn't . It was a long negotiated part of the money already owed Iran.

++Pence did the America's leadership weakened under Obama and Clinton. Kaine failed to point out that global respect for the  US skyrocketed after W.

++Pence said that ISIS grew because Hillary didn't renegotiate the Stattus of Forces Agreement. Not true. Tat was done under W and Iraq didn't want it. Pence tried to play Obama lost Iraq when we won card.

++Pence on abortion was sickening. Part of Christian faith is not bearing false witness. Like what he said about partial-birth abortion. This is the ole abortion on demand argument. 

++Kaine managed to get in Hillary's Methodist faith.

++I found Pence's personality loathsome and Kaine wining . But Kaine came to deliver blows against Trump while Pence tried to make the Hillary campaign the one of insults.

++Pence may of won the debate optically but Kaine scored all the points he needed to. Some blogger should have moderated because Climate Change didn't make it.
