GERMANY PLANS RESTITUTION OVER GENOCIDE IN NAMIBIA

Considered the first genocide in the 20th century,the slaughter of the Hereros in Namibia was actually studied by Nazi Germany as a precursor of the Holocaust. Germany has finally stated it is contemplating financial payments to the descendants of the victims.
