Melania wanted Sean Spicer gone by the end of this trip. Spicer is a devout Catholic and said he only wanted to meet Pope Francis. That was the reason he didn't come home with Bannon and Priebus.
Asked about meeting the Pope, Spicer said ," Wow, wouldn't that be something?"
But it never came. The Trump entourage was too big. Normally non-Catholics step aside for the devout. But no one did for Spicer.
He didn't even get to see the Pope before he is fired.
Trump tried to get the Pope to stop his eternal damnation probe. No luck there either.
