++W campaigned today in South Carolina. To a Republican crowd, he gave a rousing speech about his brother and 9-11. Laura actually looked very well but he had gin blossoms on his face. 

++The thinking now is that JEB! has to be in the top three to go forward. I have no idea how a late rush works in South Carolina.

++But Dick Cheney appeared on Bret Beier to attack the Donald statements about Iraq and 9-11. What Martin Longman wrote in the Washington Monthly is that the "base" has gotten beyond 9-11 and the Iraq War and do not hold Trump's criticisms of George W against him. In fact,the "base" has gotten beyond conservatism as evidenced by Trump's support of tariffs and trade quotas.
