Cuba Libre!

++ John Boehner and Mitch McConnell were taken totally by surprise with the Cuba announcement. Charles Peirce at Esquire had the best line in politics for a long time, "Obama dressed Boehner and McConnell in meat suits and threw them into the shark tank."  But they did mutter something about President Obama coddles dictators.

++President Obama says he might travel to Cuba if things develop. The last sitting President who visited Cuba was Calvin Coolidge. 

++Major League baseball is already making plans on getting more Cuban players without paying human traffickers.

++66% of Americans want normalized relations with Cuba, 22% do not.

++The Secretary General of the OAS put out a statement hailing President Obama's statement today as "historic".
