Uncle Ben Has A Meltdown At His Press Conference

++Dr. Ben has had a rough week. First was the story about how he left a sponge inside a boy's head. This was followed by reports of him being sued many times for malpractice. Then his own different a stories about being a violent teenager--stabbing someone or flaying someone ,throwing bricks, then trying to hit his mother in the head with a hammer.

++He tried to tell Magyn Kelly that CNN reporters were being too tough on him and that he really did try to stab someone--but that person doesn't want to come forward.

++The last two days have seen wall-to-wall coverage of his pyramid theory, which he confirmed to the press to much hilarity. Last night his campaign released a rap song for his campaign which made all the late night comedians.

++This afternoon's story by Politico finally provoked the press conference. In his books, Dr. Ben says he was the head of his high school's ROTC. He went to a dinner with General Westmoreland and that he promised to get Ben into West Point with a scholarship. Ed Kilgore, who worked in Senator Sam Nunn's office, pointed out that only congressmen could recommend someone to West Point. And no people going to West Point go there free without a need for a scholarship. West Point does not have any records that Ben Carson sought admission. Ben Carson said he never applied.

++The right-wing first went for Carson's throat and then released Dr. Ben is not totally to blame because Politico drew the wrong conclusions. But the networks in New Hamsphire had interviews with Republican voters said that is his West Point story is false he should drop out of the race.

++I have not seen the press conference. I am sure it will be shown everywhere. But at it he was screaming at reporters about why they never explored the story about how President Obama's records at Columbia are sealed. This is an old canard perpetrated by a former libertarian vice presidential candidate who claims no one ever knew Obama at Columbia.  Carson went on to attack President Obama, which is how he got into the race the first time. He had promised not to attack Obama at the prayer breakfast and promptly lit into him about Obamacare.

++Ben Carson's crazy ideas have finally drawn attention. He believes Satan inspired Charles Darwin to write the Origin of the Species. He believes like all good Republicans that climate change is a hoax to ruin our economy. He believes tax policy should follow the biblical practice of tithing. He believes being gay is learned behavior because he knows men who went into prison straight and came out gay. 

++I think if he keeps attacking the media, His polls may skyrocket.
