++Bernie Sanders says that this piece of legislation wants to repeal Obamacare and kick 17 million people off health insurance. As he says, people will die. It was estimated that 45,000 Americans died every year before the ACA because they did not have health insurance. This piece of legislation would probably lead to more deaths.
++Senator Sanders also went off on the plan to defund Planned Parenthood, which provides 3-4 million women medical care every year.
++In total we are talking about taking health care away from about 20-21 million Americans. Out of spite? To get back at President Obama?
++What does that effort say about the priorities of the Republican Party? And they think Donald J. Trump is weird.
++Senator Sanders also speaks about the issue of the growing inequality in this country on wealth. He cites the figure that the 20 top wealthiest people have the same wealth as the bottom 150 million. 20 to 150 million. And nothing is in the budget reconciliation bill on that issue.
++Senator Sanders talked about the stagnant wages of the American workers and says that nothing is in the budget about that.
++He reminded me alot of Ted Kennedy at the end of his career. "Hope awakens again. And the Dream Lives on!"
