++Both Bruce Springsteen and I share two things--being from the Jersey Shore and paying more taxes than Donald Trump. Plus I never stiffed a Music Store where my son rented or bought equipment. Times' James Stewart said Trump only has to release his gross revenues and the amount of taxes he pays to satisfy us. Don't hold your breath.
++Birthday gifts--Agnes Martin catalog, Mary Oliver's latest book of poetry and the latest from Van Morrison. Tomorrow, I might get Bruce's memoirs and read about his historic bans--Steel Mill and Sonic Boom. But the Big Man came to play.
