ANOTHER THING WE SHOULD EXPECT.

++Tomorrow or Tuesday,Hillary Clinton should have banked 272 electoral votes. Even at RCP, which tilts Republican, she has 262 in the bank. It is then the case of how far the Clinton Campaign wants to wrack up the votes.

++Trump's claims about "vote rigging" were met with a sharp rejoinder by the head of Philadelphia's Bipartisan Committee of Twenty, which has worked on voter rights issues in that city for the last two decades. No,there is not voter fraud. It is just that there are whole swathes of the city where Republicans honestly don't get a single vote year after year.

++The Brennan Center, which studies voter access and fraud issues, says the odds of voter fraud are like getting hit by lightning.

++The real issue is voter suppression and many of the states this year have voter ID laws for the first time. Last presidential election the threat posed by the evisceration of the Voter's Rights Act propelled the African-American community to vote in greater numbers.

++Except for his surrogates Rudy Guiliani and Newt Gingrich, the GOP is trying to stay away from this issue. The reason is quite simple. They signed a federal agreement after a case brought in New Jersey that they would not intimidate minority voters by bringing in   outside monitors. However, this year the party in Pennsylvania has brought a suit to allow them to bring in monitors from outside their respective counties. Wonder how that will turn out.

++Trump says he will not accept the results of the election until the state have certified the results--usually 30 days afterwards--and there has been an investigation as to voter fraud. Electoral votes are registered on December 20. As Doyle McManus in the Los Angeles Times writes, it is dubious that scores of lawyers will line up pro bono to fight Trump's charges.

++The big thing among the right are the Veritas tapes created by James O'Keefe that allege Democratic voter fraud. The tapes are paid for by the Trump Foundation and O'Keefe has filed a complaint with the FEC against the Democrats and the Clinton campaign.

++This is an entire exercise in trying to delegitimate the presidency of Hillary Clinton. In the articles written on the right, they allude to ACORN, the great bug-a-boo that elected Barack Obama. So who will be disrespected more--Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton?
