Brookings says this GOP bill means insurance companies now can cap how much they pay out and it will reinstall the problems of the past on catastrophic illness.
Remember the Affordable Care Act cut medical bankruptcies 50%. This bill would restore bankruptcy has a threat over every family.
And remember the old trick of insurance companies denying coverage? It will be back instantly.
For some reason,Brookings only mentioned people under 65. I don't think they got to Medicare in their analysis.
