Andrew Sullivan reappears in New York magazine to lament Trump's firing of Comey. He says and he is right. Andrew had been thinking there is nothing in the Russian investigation that could incriminate Trump himself. Now he's not so sure. Firing Comey is an obstruction of justice.
Andrew recounts all the awfulness of the Trump term so far and says they could have been corrected by election in 2018 and 2020 but now he is a threat to the democratic order. As Andrew writes, "Senate this is not a fire drill."
