++Trey Gowdy says the last few weeks have been the worst in his life because of the attacks against the #Benghazi! Committee.
++Republican member Pomeo said it was worse than Watergate. And that Hillary Clinton received most of her intelligence from Sid Blumenthal, the friend of the Clintons who coined the phrase "the right-wing conspiracy". I really have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you if you believe that.
++The CIA chimed in and informed both Republican and Democratic staffs that no Hillary Clinton didn't reveal a CIA agent's name. That was an error caused by Gowdy's editing her emails incorrectly.
++The FBI is apparently annoyed that President Obama said that Hillary's email server did not harm America's national security interests. This DRUDGE has made an impeachable offense by Obama to hinder a judicial inquiry.
++The Right has sharpened their knives against Huma Abedin and been circulating that she violated the law by working as an adviser to a corporation while working for the State Department. Previously, she was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood working for the Obama administration. That faded when she married Anthony Weiner.

Odd and Ends
++Trey Gowdy, the head of the Benghazi Committee, said he did not have the authority to subpoena Hillary Clinton's server. Was this a political game to allow questions to be raised during her campaign or simply an awareness of his limitations?
++Hillary Clinton hailed Elizabeth Warren as a "progressive champion" as we have seen she has moved more in the Warren direction on the last few days.
++Progressives are up in arms about TPP. Sherrod Brown, for one, has been hammering the Obama Administration about this one.
++The AFl-CIO is mounting a several million dollar campaign against TPP.
++The House should have a fast track bill tomorrow penned by Paul Ryan.
++Paul Ryan continues his mischief. The House voted to eliminate the estate tax. If you don't have an estate of $10 million, you have nothing to worry about now with the law still in place. This was a tremendous give-away to the rich that costs the American-taxpayer $200 billion over the next ten years.
++Harry Reid told Rachel Maddow that he would move to get Loretta Lynch confirmed . One of the most qualified persons for the position of Attorney-General in our history should has waited more time for confirmation than any other nominee for Attorney General. Today Jeb Bush asked that she be confirmed.
++Speaking of Jeb,he will be speaking at Liberty University's commencement. His brother says his biggest problem is himself--the only and only George W. Bush.
++The Imperial Post ran a piece that Jeb is burdened by the same war-like tendencies as his brother.
++The Israeli government wants the Boycott,Divestment Movement branded as terrorists.
++Conservatives have complained about Cuba harboring some of the FBI's most wanted criminals. It is interesting that Cuba itself initiated a round of talks
on these fugitives. Particularly Joanne Chesimard.

House to Create Select Committee on Benghazi
++If you have followed the noise of the GOP since the first election of Barack Obama, you would have to conclude they either aimed to impeach him or assassinate him.
++With today's straight partisan vote on establishing another investigation into Benghazi,Dave Weigel in Slate as picked up by the Washington Monthly, points out that the choice of Trey Gowdy,a prosecutor, is deliberate by Boehner,so he becomes the face of impeachment. Darryl Issa sort of blew it and could not bring home the bacon. Issa's last ditch effort to save his position was to subpoena John Kerry.
++The idea is to impeach President Obama for his dereliction of duty as commander-in chief.
++Democrats got some salvos in today by questioning why the GOP never wanted an investigation of the deaths in Iraq caused by the lies of the last administration or the practice of torture.
++One worrisome detail about this Select Committee, the GOP has the right to call witnesses but the Democrats have no such ability.
++Frankly, if I were the Democrats, I would refuse to participate. The quotes and tweets of Trey Gowdy have let the cat out of the bag. There is no pretense about objectivity in such a committee. The GOP wants to wound President Obama for the rest of his term and try and block Hillary Clinton's run for the Presidency. There is no other reason. Gowdy even screwed up when he listed three questions that he wanted answered, which journalists have pointed out that they had been.
++The selection of witnesses is key. I expect they will not agree to hear the Accountabity Review Committee, which Issa tried to avoid.
