Question From A Reader

++A reader from the West Coast sent me this question from his iPhone and I only discovered it in my company's email. This was at the time Rudy attacked President Obama for not loving America. The question was "Why are they attacking a lame duck President when his legacy will be decided by the Supreme Court?

++Good question which tracks with an email I got from a conservative today trying to argue that the labor participation rate in the United States is at an all-time low and that all the jobs in the recovery went to foreigners.

++To answer the question,the black man has got so into their brains they can't shake him. President Obama is then 21st century version of how Republicans responded to FDR for decades after FDR was long gone. The 2016 presidential campaign will be run against President Obama like 2010 and 2014. The Republicans feel they need to defeat President Obama somehow and somewhere.

++The other answer is that they are doing everything they can to make sure there will never be another Barack Obama. He may be Jackie Robinson in our eyes but they don't want to see a Willie Mays. 

++Only yesterday I received an e-mail suggesting that President Obama had been a young gay lover of Franklin Davis, the ex-Communist friend of his grandfather. Previously, David had really been his father. There is an obsession with this man that borders on the psychotic.

++Another aspect of this is that President Obama doesn't ask permission. Conservatives are frankly appalled that President Obama showed no contrition after they 2014 loss. They were doubly appalled that he mentioned 2/3rds of the people didn't vote.

++Look at the Authorization of Military Force request by President Obama. There is debate among conservatives not to give it to him because they don't trust him. Not because the GOP is against war. They don't know whether the war is the one they want.

++President Obama is the "other" just as all non-white males, women, immigrants are. Only white males above a certain age are true Americans. 

++That's why Republicans wish Vladimir Putin or Bibi Netanyahu were President instead. 

++The GOP are committed to destroying anything President Obama has done and denigrating his achievements. Governor Perry said the job figures are made up. This is a sentiment that my e-mailers agree with. Anything they can connect to persons of color they will block or not fund. This leads to the bizarre phenomenon of cutting food stamps when the vast majority of the recipients are white and vote for Republicans.

++The man put his Voodoo on them and they are crazed. You will not hear a positive thing about him after he is gone. Family values--you couldn't ask for a better role model. Living the American dream--he should be inspiring.

++The Washington Post finally wrote about the greatest events of disrespecting the President day--from You Lie to Rudy. Maybe as a lame duck the Beltway pundits might give him a break.
