"Trump,Putin And The Big Hack". David Remnick,an old Russian hand, recounts the Russians reactions to Trump's victory and how pleased they are with Rex Tillerson nominated as Secretary of State. As one Russian said,"Democracy and human rights are not in Trump's lexicon." They felt Tillerson would engage in transactional politics and leave the human rights behind.
Remnick also goes over Russia's antagonism to both Bill and Hillary Clinton and why Putin was committed to directrectly intervene in the election. Stobe Talbott, Clinton's Russia Person, said: "The Russians felt they hit 17 Jackpots" by interfering so successfully in our election.
Remnick echoes alot of the press by saying none can maintain this was an unsullied election. He urged Trump to get to the bottom of it if he doesn't want his whole presidency de-legitimized. Good luck with that.
