Trump's infatuation with Russia has struck political pundits as odd ,if not suspicious. The other shoe to drop is actual evidence that Trump was in collusion with Russia for the whole campaign. There is circumstantial evidence.
But knowing the hostile actions of Putin toward the West and neighboring states as well as his suppression of the opposition in his own country,he doesn't seem to be the type of leader to idealize as the Rights has done in their comparison's with Obama.
The issue is class. There aren more billionaires in Moscow than anywhere else in the world. We know Putin upgraded his cyber attacks on the United States not only because he feared a "Color Revolution" but because he was exposed in the Panama Papers along with Donald Trump. The leaking of the Panama Papers he attributed to the CIA but McCLatchy News who broke the story said the United States had nothing to do with it.
Putin's Russia is only a refuge to billionaires for Trump. It has a 15% income tax rate and the local billionaires are immune to the social realities of every day citizens. Trump's admiration for Putin is because Putin is one of the very richest people in the world.
Geopolitics has nothing to do with it. The world of billionaires defies politics.
