Chris Hayes was taken aback when Maxine Waters called the people in the Trump administration "scumbags" who are all working to lift sanctions for the oil and gas industry. She's absolutely right and especially that the end game here is the $100s of billions to be made from the gas and oil deals in the Ukraine and Russia. I believe the lady is right on the money in terms of the motives behind Russia involvement with the elections and the subsequent actions by underlings on trying to peddle a deal with the Ukraine.
What should worry Americans is why the United States should become a petrostate when in fact thousands of jobs are being created by solar,in fact more than oil and gas combined. The Wall Street Journal reports that the oil industry in Texas is coming back but none of the jobs are. I've stressed over and over we don't need the oil.
The second problematic issue is that literally no one you know will see a nickel from these deals. Only the Russian and American billionaires.
