This is strange. AP reports that Mercury LLC registered as a foreign agent for the pro-Putin Ukrainian party but that Manafort did not . The head of Mercury LLC is one Vin Weber--remember him.
But Manafort himself contemplated registering as a foreign agent but his spokesman said Paul Manafort has consulted with the FBI and hasn't decided yet.
Watch this space because a break will come from odd things like this.
