REUTERS: PUTIN-LINKED THINK TANK HAD PLAN FOR US ELECTION

The Institute for Contemporary Affairs, a Russian think tank closely linked to Vladimir Putin, had a detailed plan to move the 2016 Presidential election toward Trump's way. The Reuters story was based on documents confirmed by three former and two current intelligence officials.

Rachel Maddow continued her investigations on the Russian issue by focusing on Eric Prince's role in the Trump transition and his meeting with Putin's envoy in the Sychelles. She also covered what the Exxon-Rosneft deal means for Russia and Exxon-Mobil's bid for a waiver from the Russian sanctions.

Rachel Maddow's stories have caught the eye of RT, Russia's propaganda arm.

Chris Hayes playing catch-up focuses on the New Yorker story about how the intelligence community was asked to back engineer intelligence to make Trump's attack on Obama seem realistic and how they failed.

It was also reported that Mitch McConnell's Superpac received funds from a pro-Putin Ukrainian for the last election.

Louisa Mensch now reports that Flynn went on a treason tour first to Cambridge,England and to other parts in Europe transmitting messages to Russian agents about future US policy.

It has also been reported that Rudy Guiliani wanted to turn on Trump but that the feds turned Rudy down because it was said they had enough on the President already.
