Obama fired Flynn and the DOD sent three letters to him warning Flynn to ask permission to receive foreign money. Even still, a new administration usually does their own vetting even if a candidate already has top security clearance.
Why would you keep the story in front of the news? Most observers believe the White House is in a panic over the Flynn affair because they knew for over a month before canning him.
The questions I have about Flynn revolve around a trip to Europe and visit to Cambridge Analytica in Britain. What did Flynn do there ? Cambridge Analytica is partially owned by the Mercer family and acted to micro-target voters in swing states. So far we have not burst the bubble of the bots targeting voters in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin.
The Fact that Russians paid for Flynn to lobby for Turkey--is that a payoff for services rendered to Russia?
We are still left with the question of Russia and the elections and the separate question of Russia funding for the Trump empire. Both put Trump at risk.
Inquiring minds still want to know how this proceeds when both the House and Senate investigations have skeletal tasks. Remember 43 staff worked on Benghazi.
