Nothing Much Happening

+Ben Carson's campaign imploded. The staff quit.

+The Donald got mad at Charlie Krauthammer.

+Politico said that the thousand who came out for Bernie Sanders in Burlington, Vermont, when he announced his campaign for President, were not "your average Americans". This was done more subtly than a Fox commentator who said rich people were there. Ben and Jerry attended and gave out free ice cream.

+Hillary Clinton scored big at her speech accepting the Barbara Jordan Award with her condemnation of voter restriction acts and her calls for a longer early voting period and automatic registration. She named names and didn't take any prisoners. Jeb Bush, Scott Walker,Chris Christie and Rick Perry.

+Only Chris Christie answered by saying that Hillary Clinton wanted to win by massive voter fraud. Unfortunately for Christie the press isn't having any of it , by pointing out that real voter fraud produces about 1 case per state per decade.

+But you do not have a right to vote because there were too many people the Founding Fathers didn't want to vote. Now Civil Liberties groups are pushing a constitutional amendment for the Right to vote.

+House Republicans are saying they have no plans to salvage Obamacare subsidies because their constituents don't get them anyway. Which means no one in the Middle Class votes for them.

+Paul Ryan claims he is going to bring Fast Track Authority in for President Obama.

+The Obama era is ending. Hillary beat President Obama for having the best week.

+China hacked all the federal government for records on federal employees.

+The West and Russia held a shouting match at the United Nations today on the Ukraine.

+Iranian General Suileiman promises a big surprise soon. He is airlifting 150,000 troops to defend Damascus. They will be joined by thousands of Shiite militiamen from Iraq.

+Sheldon Adelson had the biggest Jewish donors out to Las Vegas to devise a strategy to stop the Boycott and Divestment campaign against Israel. J Street sent a letter saying that the Boycott movement was picking up steam because students are frustrated with the lack of progress on the Palestinian issue that demoralizes Jewish students and encourages outbreaks of anti-semiticism.

+Ted Cruz sniped at Jeb claiming he was not in good shape in any of the three primaries. Ted, however, has made no progress among the Hispanic community. Maybe they think he is a Canadian.

+Mitt was more popular than Jeb among conservatives. Strange but true.

+Lindsey Graham says you may not like it but he is going to war anyway.

+I can't wait until the Donald throws his hate in the ring. If each nominee needs a billionaire, why not a real billionaire running? H. Ross Perot did it. Why not the Donald?

+Fox News claims that the Republican field is deep. I agree with many, "deep" would not be the word I would use. Tom Coburn went down the list and rated them and only found Marco Rubio to his liking.

+I still am getting anti-Obama e-mails. It seems a little pointless since his term is effectively done in six month.

+Mitch McConnell may hasten it because he refuses to bring to the floor a vote on any of Obama's nominees for judges. The idea is that he is going to slow government down to a crawl so that the GOP isn't damaged by any action. As for judges, leave the absences until "our" guy gets elected. Is this like preventing President obama from having a second term. He may be disappointed.

+The Hillary Clinton campaign is bringing a series of lawsuits against voter resection laws in key swing states. She's taking nothing for granted.

+While observers said that Hillary was in texas because it acts as an "ATM" machine for Democrats,no one mentioned she has 250,000 volunteers in the state. It's like Iowa, which people are lamenting her lack of presence but the Iowa Party needs money and she is delivering.

+Rand Paul is drawing the hate card this week. Tom Coburn said he would not vote for him. Lindsey Graham said he would be the worst Republican nominee and John McCain blasted him on the Senate floor.

+Yes, Sid Blumental is going to testify on the 16th before the #Benghazi! committee. Maybe he'll show the committee Benghazi on the map. Or he might ex;win how the members are part of the right-wing conspiracy.

+Pew found that Glenn Beck,Sean O'Hannity and Rush Limbaugh are the least believed broadcasters in the business. Rush now complains conservatives are the new kooks. He's right they are.

+The Gunowners of America, an even more far-right group than the NRA, says the first amendment was made for the Obama Administration, who ,of course, are tyrants or something.

+Conservative commentary has basically written off Governor Perry, the first indicted candidate for President. I don't know why because he really is where the party is today.
