The Trashing of The Donald

++At least Newsmax is running the Donald's announcement speech on their television station.

++The Donald only won one laudatory--tongue in cheek--notice today--from the Democratic National Committee. The DNC said a substantive Republican candidate  has entered the race and that they want to hear all of his plans for America.

++Karl Rove promptly called him a moron. The Washington Post ran two pieces blasting him and his ego. 

++Kevin Williamson ran a piece in the National Review that guts the Donald for his serial bankruptcy and even goes rough on his plastic surgery wife. He says that the Donald has the taste of Caligula. Williamson said that the Donald entered the stage by going down on an escalator at Trump Plaza without knowing how representative going down has for his campaign. Williamson said that we have to know that The Donald's father's middle name was "Christ" and that's where he gets his ego. Williamson said he is an heir to hundreds of slum properties that he parleyed into his billions by going bankrupt several times and is about to go bankrupt again.

++P.J. O'Rourke says that the Donald is America,the epitome of Bad Taste.

++The Donald is polling in 9th place so we must root that he is included in the debates. 

++The Donald proposed that he could win with Oprah Winfrey as Vice President. 

++A white male billionaire--the perfect GOP demographic. He even has a secret plan to defeat ISIS, which he has talked about with the Pentagon, who encouraged him.

++The Donald may be quirky but he doesn't have the huge ideological baggage that all the other GOP candidates have. For instance, Jeb said that his brother's attempt to privatize Social Security will have to be done by the next President. He also said he believes we need many more boots on the ground in Iraq. And that's just the establishment.

++The Donald has to overcome the fact that 57% of true GOP would never vote for him under any circumstances. But is that because he donated to the Clinton Charities and once thought of running as a Democrat? Or is it his plan to have a tax to wipe out the entire debt of our country? Democrats have obvious reasons for opposing the Donald--from his birtherism to his other attacks on President Obama. But isn't this just the quirkiness of a billionaire. Kevin Williamson says he likes his kooks like Ross Perot and the claims that Lee Atwater had Vietnamese hit squads ready to take him out.
