Josh Marshall wrote last night that David Nunes of that committee told Bloomberg there was no there there. Marshall's point was the the Republican congress has no desire to oversee the Trump regime.
General Flynn tweeted that he was the scapegoat. That sort of implies a " scapegoat" for whom. That is reason enough to investigate.
Wikileaks says that Flynn's resignation was because of the destabilization by the Democrats and the news media.

Strangely Japan's Prime Minister Abe said Trump enouraged him to broaden relations with Putin.
