YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A RUSSIA HAWK TO CARE

Josh Marshall wisely writes how Russia is a wounded nation and thus highly dangerous. And no Mitt Romney was not right when he said Russia was the gravest threat to the United States. Obama had it right in his press conference when he said Russia doesn't produce anything and its economy is a wreck. It's basically a regional power with nuclear weapons. And it can not be stressed enough that its economy is less than Italy's. Josh does point out Trump's mixed signals or things like the Baltics may tempt Russia to war.

I would say the danger is that Trump by his choice of gossip-fuel fanatics wants to imitate Russia and create a petrostate which would be just as unstable.
