Kerry Tries To Delay Release of the Torture Report

++John Kerry phone Diane Feinstein to ask the torture report be delayed because it will affect relationships with American allies. Probably because it deals with the CIA "black sites" and the torture committed there.

++Andrew Sullivan expresses the appropriate outrage in today's The Dish. Andrew outlines everyday the Obama Administration has tried to stop this report from seeing the light of day. Then John Kerry pulls an "Hail Mary" attempt to stop Diane Feinstein from her Monday release.

++As it is, only the executive summary would be released and as it is,the once 665-page summary has been redacted to 500 pages.

++If the torture report isn't released this lame session, it will never see the light of day.

++Meanwhile, the International Criminal Court has open an investigation into torture in Afghanistan as a war crime.

++President Obama, release the report. After all it deals only with torture committed by the CIA and not other agencies of our government. And they were not committed during Obama's watch. But if it is not released after our testimony before the UN Human Rights Council,we will again be complicit.
