President Obama used his weekly address to announce it is open season for enrollment in Obamacare. But he alerted those of us who have health insurance through employers that if the GOP has its way the patients' bill of rights vanishes.
These items include No CAP ON PAYOUTS,which enables people with serious illnesses not to get caught in massive, crippling debt,NO PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS ( See Letter to TPM about someone who dealt with state insurance plans before), No PREVENTATIVE CARE--like your annual check up,NO DISCRIMINATION AGAINST WOMEN--rates were mnore for women before the ACA.
So think about yourself. My wife and I have bemoaning the down and out in our society under Trump--It's us.
And President Obama confirmed 30 million would lose their health insurance.
