Unfortunately the cabinet picks only need 50 votes and only with General Mattis can a filibuster be used. But confirmation hearings can be used to expose the most egregious of their flaws.
And naturally The shadow President of the United States--Governor Jerry Brown of California made a superb move by appointing Rep. Bercera as his new Attorney General. This signaled California would be the beacon of light in a darkening America.
I'm avoiding reading "news" about Trump but it is like Trumpporn. You are tempted. It really is grim.
