++Post columnist Jennifer Rubin is handicapping the GOP presidential race. She claims Paul Ryan has so many issues facing him he will take a by. She claims he is in the thick of things on the budget (Heaven Hell Us) and a replacement for Obamacare (this should be good). Her favorite is Mitt Romney who doesn't seem to be interested. And Marco Rubio was too damaged by the immigration issue and he faces a decision whether to run for President or re-election as Senator. She claims the establishment will get behind a candidate like the "wonk-ish" Jeb Bush to cut down the number of debates. Really "wonk-ish".
++The Post really doesn't like the fact that Obama is at 48% approval rating. They say he has capital now but when he returns and his approval drops to 45% then he will be without clout. So expect to hear two years that he is a lame duck.
++The Post doesn't expect much from Congress this year because the GOP can't risk looking cooperative with President Obama and the Democrats can't look cooperative with the GOP.
++About the only thing interesting is that the Post reports on news about Special Forces operations in Syria and Iraq with Pentagon denials but the details of others reporting. Have they learned from Iraq?
