A WAR FROM BEFORE I WAS BORN SEEMS TO BE OVER

++FARC and the Colombian government signed a ceasefire in Havana and the guerrillas disarmed. This war begun in 1948 inspired Fidel Castro's own revolution and has resulted in 100s of thousands dead. If the agreement holds ,it will be one of the biggest accomplishments in decades.
