+The numbers are out and it looks ugly. Donald J.Trump starts off with the biggest deficit in fund-raising than any other candidate for a major party in history.
+The delegate revolt is said to exceed several hundred.
+Michael Gerson just won't give up. In the Post, he writes "A Delegate Revolt Has Become the Republicans' Only Option.' He calls Trump a "niche candidate" that panders to racism and xenophobia.
+He invokes Abraham Lincoln to shame Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell and Reince Priebus to stand up to the Donald. Michael urges that the GOP pick not be a candidate Trump beat. He says that the rules committee is staffed with party people rather than Trump people and they can make the delegate's choice non-binding on the first ballot. He admits a delegate revolt will be ugly.
+Like burning down Cleveland?!
