+Nicole Sturgeon, Scotland's First Minister, said she would veto Brexit at the Scottish Parliament. Since every district voted to remain that wouldn't be a hard thing to do. Then Westminister would have to rule and if it ruled negatively we move into a referendum on independence. Then the forces of independence would have the arguments in hand.
+Nicole called the ambassadors of the EU to meet with her about ways Scotland can remain in the EU.
+Angela Merkel said she would welcome Scotland staying in the EU.
+But we have an interesting dilemma. Prime Minister Cameron when he stepped down didn't invoke Article 50 that would start the UK exiting. Instead he left it to his successors who are not so happy about it. It seems it might be impossible to achieve. EU members want a quick separation. But there is no British government with which to negotiate.
+The "Remain" campaign is making noises that the referendum was advisory and that 75% of the population didn't vote as required (72% voted) and "Leave" did not reach 67% in favor(it got barely 51%). The bottom-line is that the referendum was said to be "advisory". Observers said the night of the election for the optics of constitutional legitimacy the vote would have to be honored.
+But Cameron knew that it couldn't be. The ensuing chaos with the Scots' stubbornness might still save the day. Brits are finally wakening up to the disaster they wrought.
