++Dylan Matthews at VOX cites the latest Politico article that Hillary has Tim Kaine as her choice because he is low risk, been thoroughly vetted, and passes the presidential test. The downside is he is boring and doesn't put sparkle in the ticket like Elizabeth Warren does. The thinking is that with Warren and Booker Democrats can't seem to elect Governors when they need to and Clinton wouldn't risk Senate seats over this. TMac,Virginia's current governor,ensures a Democratic replacement.
