++Cilizza handicaps the VP pick. He says that Hillary Clinton's trademark is caution. She does leap before she looks--but looks,looks,looks. As a result she doesn't have good political instincts (which worries me). She will not fundamentally change the race in any way. Cillizza thinks that her aides believe all she has to do is block and tackle efficiently until election day and she wins.
++So Cilizza thinks that her VP pick will be someone who will do no harm and is a governance pick. Governor Tim Kaine endorsed her in May 2014 and was Obama's second pick which means he was vetted already for the job.
++His main liability is that he is boring. Is that enough?
