BEST MOMENT OF STANDING ROCK

The ghost dance originated with the Sioux. They thought their eden would come back when the hurts of buffalo roamed again across the plains.

So much to the surprise and delight of the assembled protestors at Standing Rock, a herd of Buffalo appeared out of nowhere and started galloping across the plains. The Sioux had no idea where they came from or if there were any buffalo still around. They added a nice touch of theater to the demonstration.

The Indian nations in both North America and Canada have provided the bulk of the activists fighting against Enbridge in British Columbia, the Keystone XL Pipeline and the Dakota Access pipeline. Their genius is that they own the key lands over which the pipelines have to run.
