Could we recall that Wikileaks true contribution to humanity was Chelsea Manning's leak of the videos of the Iraq war. Those were of historic importance. His later leaks of State Department memos threatened to get well-meaning people killed who shared their impressions of repressive regimes to our foreign service. And it showed some foreign service people could write.
