I usually don't watch David Packman but he has a show on which raised the very real problem that Trump doesn't know how to read.
Packman ran a few interviews with reporters who said Trump doesn't read anything and quoted Tony Schwarz who wrote the "Art of the Deal" who never saw a book in Trump's office.
Most devastating was a tape of Trump being deposed by a lawyer on a lawsuit this past summer. When asked to read a paragraph on financial damages who pretended not to have his glasses and his lawyer intervened to cut off the lawyer for making Trump actually read.
Packman also ran clips of Trump's problems with teleprompters suggesting he just can't read the words.
What we know is that Trump will not read position papers. He insisted all memos should be single-paged and Large Type and contain at most 6 bullet points.
This might explain his signing Executive Orders such as putting Bannon on the NSC without understanding what he has done.
