++Huffington Post today runs as its top story the problems with the latest anti-Obamacare case before the Supreme Court. It seems we are running out of legal plaintiffs with any standing. Yesterday I wrote about the part-time teacher who didn't want health insurance cut for anyone and had never been contacted by the lawyers. Today, another woman plaintiff had as her legal address a motel in Virginia, even though she hasn't lived there for months.
++But what is very strange is that the Wall Street Journal is doing the best reporting on this issue and the question of whether there are any "real" plaintiffs in this case.
++As a news outlet that has been anti-0bamacare why this turn around? Mother Jones may have inadvertently stumbled on to the answer. They have an article today that Hospital Corporation of America, one of the largest medical service providers in the country has come out very openly and vigorously to denounce the case as a "sham". You will remember that Rick Scott, the governor of Florida, used to be the CEO of HCA. HCA has filed an amicus curiae case for the government.
++It seems the medical providers and health insurance industry are mobilizing against this case and making their opinion known . This may have something to do with the Wall Street Journal's detailed investigation into the "Plaintiffs".
