++ Our Philadelphia Israeli consul is not the only one upset with Bibi's speech. All the other Israeli consuls in the United States are flying home form a confab on Israeli-US relations. The consuls have been inundated by phone calls and e-mails protesting Bibi snub of President Obama. The consuls are complaining that this snafu threatens the bipartisan relationship with Israel.
++To cover his and Bibi's tracks, Israel's deputy foreign minister, a senior figure in the Likud party, said that Boehner misled Bibi, saying that the Democrats were cool with the speech. The deputy ,however, said Bibi couldn't pass up the opportunity to speak on the threat posed by Iran.
++Israeli papers were positive about President Obama's mention of the Crusades and the Spanish Inquisition in his National Prayer Day speech. Fox News, however, was not.
